In Australia, a subsidiary of EOG holds a 100% interest in the WA-488-P Block, a petroleum exploration permit located in Federal waters offshore Western Australia in the Bonaparte Basin. EOG has a commitment with the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator to drill an exploration well within the permit. The exploration well will be used to target the Beehive hydrocarbon prospect, therefore we call the activities associated with the permit are called the “Beehive Project”.

The Beehive Project currently consists of three activities related to the fulfillment of the drilling commitment which need independent approvals from the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environment Management Authority (“NOPSEMA”) in the form of separate Environment Plans (“EPs”).

3. Beehive Multi-Well Drilling
